TheConfederationofAsia-PacificChambersofCommerceandIndustry(CACCI)isaregionalgroupingofapexnationalchambersofcommerceandindustry,businessassociationsandbusinessenterprisesinAsiaandtheWesternPacific、Itisanon-governmentalorganizationservingasaforumforpromotingthevitalroleofbusinessmenintheregion,increasingregionalbusinessinteraction,andenhancingregionaleconomicgrowth.Sinceitsestablishmentin8966,CACCIhasgrownintoanetworkofnationalchambersofcommercewithatotalnowof28PrimaryMembersfrom26countriesorindependenteconomies.ItcutsacrossnationalboundariestolinkbusinessmenandpromoteeconomicgrowththroughouttheAsia-Pacificregion.CACCIisanon-governmentalorganization(NGO)grantedconsultativestatus,Rostercategory,undertheUnitedNations.ItisamemberoftheConferenceonNGOs(CoNGO),anassociationofNGOswithUNconsultativestatus.

83、特殊的學(xué)習(xí)和研究做準(zhǔn)備-CACCIcarriesout,throughtheSecretariatorotherreputableresearchinstitutions,specialstudiesandresearchesinvariousfieldsofeconomicactivitiestohelpsolveproblemsaffectingregionalcooperation,toadvocatepositionsoncertainissues,ortodevelopprojectsdesignedtopromoteandachievetheobjectivesofCACCI.

85、網(wǎng)絡(luò)的業(yè)務(wù)幫助中心-CACCIprovidesitsmembersaccessintoanetworkofBusinessAssistanceCenters(BACs).BACsaresetupandoperatedbyPrimaryMembers,withtheassistanceofCACCI,tohelptheirownmembersandforeignbusinessmenwhoareexploringorplanningtodobusinessintheirrespectiveareas.BACshelpin:

(a)arrangingmeetingsorcontacts;

(b)settingappointmentswithgovernmentofficials;

(c)providingatemporaryofficewithstaff;

(d)servingasforwardingaddressandmessagecenter;

(e)providinginformationservices;and

(f)extendinguseofbusinessfacilitiesandequipmentasmaybeneededatcost.
