Sean McKee joined the London Chamber from Gatwick Airport, where he was the Head of Public Affairs.

Sean joined Gatwick as it was acquired by Global Infrastructure Partners and was responsible for building the public affairs capability for the new airport company. Prior to that he has been an Associate Director within the UK public affairs division of FD, providing strategic counsel and advice, particularly in transport, financial services, and local government. Sean moved to FD as part of the takeover of LLM Communications where he had been a senior public affairs advisor. Before coming to London and joining LLM in 2011, Sean was a political advisor to one of the Deputy Speakers in the Northern Ireland Assembly.

Rob Griggs

Rob Griggs joined the London Chamber from the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), where he was its Public Affairs Advisor.

Rob was responsible for championing the industry's advertising self-regulatory ASA system to policy makers at European, UK and devolved levels, and provided strategic advice to senior colleagues on matters of reputational or regulatory risk. Rob joined the ASA as an assistant in the communications team, handling both public affairs and press work on behalf of the organisation. Rob began his career as a constituency caseworker for his local South Thanet MP Dr Stephen Ladyman, in Kent.

Rob holds a BA in Social & Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge and a Public Affairs Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations

Emily Follis

Policy Manager

Emily joined the London Chamber as Policy Manager in September 2015, focusing on Property and Construction as well as Skills and Employment.

Prior to her role at the Chamber, she worked in two political offices, most recently as Senior Parliamentary Assistant to Mary Macleod MP in the Houses of Parliament. During her time in Westminster, Emily led a number of campaigns for local regeneration and managed a women's parliamentary group which successfully lobbied Government for the establishment of a Women and Equalities Select Committee.

Emily holds both a BA and MA in Classics from Durham University.

Siwan Puw

Siwan Puw joined the London Chamber in October 2015 as a Policy Manager.

Prior to joining the Chamber she worked in Westminster as a Parliamentary Researcher for Guto Bebb MP and subsequently as Senior Researcher and

Office Manager for Derek Thomas MP. During her time in Parliament she was responsible for a number of policy areas, focusing on the SME sector, financial services reform and business rates.

Siwan holds an LLB from the University of Manchester.

Silviya Barrett

Silviya joined LCCI in March 2011 and carries out research on a wide range of issues and policy developments that affect the capital's business community. Silviya has worked on topics including the value of EU membership to London businesses, increasing international exports and securing the business legacy from the London 2012 Games.

Over the last year, Silviya authored the Getting Our House in Order report on the impact of housing undersupply on London businesses, and Skills to Build, highlighting construction skills shortages as an imminent issue to meeting housing targets and delivering key infrastructure projects.

Prior to joining the Chamber, Silviya provided research and policy support at Enterprise UK, the national charity for increasing entrepreneurial skills and attitudes. Silviya has a Master's degree in European Studies from King's College London and a BA (Hons) degree in International Relations and Management from Regent's American College London.

Thomas Wagemaakers

Thomas joined LCCI in January 2016 and carries out research on a wide range of issues and policy developments that affect the capital's business community.

Prior to joining the Chamber, Thomas worked for the Cape York Institute, an independent think tank on Aboriginal Affairs in Australia, where he was responsible for policy work in the economic development and employment areas. Thomas also has experience working for the Mission of the Netherlands to the United Nations in New York, and as an economic and research consultant in Australia and Papua New Guinea.

Thomas holds an MSc. in Local Economic Development from the London School of Economics and a Research MSc. in Urban Studies from the University of Amsterdam.

Sophie Mew

Sophie joined LCCI in March 2015, working on external affairs activity including Parliamentary and City Hall contact, media relations and policy events.
